Prada is a luxury brand and some of their handbags cost more than a luxury house! The reason is scarcity and they burn any unsold bags rather than sell them at a discount. This is what we are doing to Polkacity assets, creating scarcity for you, the investor in our platform.
Any unsold Gas Stations and Van Taxis will burn on Sunday (4th April) at 11 PM UTC. This is a good opportunity to grab whatever is available before they are gone forever.
Previously, all unsold shopping centers and hotels were burnt and now they all show Sold Out. Asset prices were increased 10% after the burn event and this keeps happening bi-monthly, every 15 days.

The platform has been moving towards 3D assets and these assets are limited, meaning there will be no more shopping centers or hotels, or gas stations, or Van Taxis created. This is the last chance to grab a gas station or a van taxi!
All unsold assets will burn, and it is likely that when the native marketplace opens, the asset prices will fluctuate closer to their burn times, which means that early investors will benefit from the burns further.
Burning the unsold assets and decreasing the asset types removes the choice overload, and keeps it simple for our investors. Polkacity will continue with asset burns and will work for the investors in the platform.
