Disco and Streaming in Polkacity Metaverse

We have been building and improving the Disco NFT as one of the first businesses in Polkacity. We will build all the businesses and get them online for our users to run and benefit from. You will be able to hire other people to work in your business or cut deals with artists or other businesses to host them, whether you own a Disco or another business NFT from Polkacity.

If you own a Disco, in addition to its APY and passive income, you will be able to sell tickets and benefit from the ticket sales. This NFT will be used for various purposes such as live events, streaming, and watching together. The Disco party events may involve just you and your friends, watching a show together. You can organize a Disco party, come together online, chat, and watch a movie you all like. You can stream a show, such as a karaoke party, and sing together using the voice chat. You can also join thousands of other people and watch pre-planned shows like watching a movie in a movie theater. The first published game will be for desktop with voice chat and avatars, but we plan to extend this to the VR environment so that you can use your VR headset to feel right in the middle of the party!

One of the significant uses of the Disco NFT will be live show streams by professional clubs or artists. Polkacity will use its connections with real-life businesses to bring in events and have them be hosted on the Polkacity NFTs. The Disco NFT owner will be able to take control of the Disco screen and have control over which channel is playing. The video/stream will be synced for all users inside the Disco. We will add more props and work on the lighting of the Disco interior to make it real pretty and have it shine like a real disco.

Discos will be used for live or recorded music events. For example, a real bar will be able to broadcast from one of the discos and organize an event with some rewards for lucky participants.

If you are playing the guitar, for example, you can reserve a time slot and play it to stream and have people watch it and join in with voice chat, just like playing in a real-life event.
