Polkacity Game Play Guide

City View:

When you join a game or create a game you are shown the whole city first.

You can scroll left/right, forward and backward, also can pan to zoom, which will take you inside Polkacity, our metaverse. You can hover above using WASD letters, and turn using Q or E. You can use your mouse wheel to zoom in or zoom out.

Player Controls:

When you zoom in the city using your mouse wheel, after a while, you land in the metaverse and now view Polkacity from an over the shoulder (3rd person) perspective, with a mini-map on the bottom left.

You can now click the right control key or D key to move to the right.

You can click the left control key or A key to move left.

You can click the back control key or S key to move backward. Holding this key will let you walk backward facing the camera.

You can click the front control key or W to move the front. Holding this key you will start to walk forward-facing against the camera.

If the shift key is pressed while the user is moving backward or forward in points 6 and 7, the character starts to sprint.

You can use the mouse or joystick to move the camera and change the direction of the character.

You can pan and zoom in or zoom out to look around the city.

Car mode:

You can find a car spawning location at different points in the city. Pressing E near it opens the car option.

The vehicle option shown opens different types of vehicles to choose from. The number of cars will increase and all the NFT cars will be present, if you own them.

By pressing E, you can exit from the car menu and your chosen car appears in front of you.

You can get close to the car and have the option to interact by pressing the E button.

You can get inside the car by pressing the E button and the car can now be driven.

Pressing the forward key or W, the car moves forward.

Pressing the Left/Right key or A/D key will turn the car left or right accordingly.

Pressing the back key or S key stops the car.

Pressing the spacebar key hits the handbrake and the car stops immediately.

Multiplayer Mode:

You can find other users in the game and socialize.

Once you find others in the game, you can socialize, chat and do activities together.

Disco Mode:

You can find the Disco building in Polkacity, which can be owned by one user at a time on a first come first serve basis.

As you enter the disco, you will see a video being played. When you are outside the Disco, only the name Polkacity will be visible on the screen.

When you get into the disco, a video will be played on the screen as shown below.

When you get closer to the screen a small pop-up will appear displaying “E” to interact with the screen.

You claim the disco in Polkacity by pressing the E key, if you own the Disco NFT, and you can now change the channels as you wish. This is like holding the remote control on a large screen TV.

Anytime you want to quit this mode to get back, just press the E key again, to exit this mode. Almost all business NFTs will use the E key to interact with.

Exit Mode:

You can also press the ESC key anytime in the game and this gives you two options, either to Exit to Main Menu and go back to profile screen or to Exit to Desktop and quit the game.
