Polkacity Game Video, the very first teaser

This is the first-ever video showing how we are building the Polka City game; Enjoy!

The video includes the very first building blocks in Polka City, as they are laid out. The buildings will change and their 3D shape will be perfected. The mechanism regarding the AI will be added and all the cars, sea vehicles, hot dog stands, discos, hotels, drones, taxis will find their place in the city.

You can see the very first and beautiful flowers, mountains, rivers, and the sea in the Polkacity metaverse. These will all be detailed further with more realistic animation and physics. Most of the NFT games on the market are either card games, or they are boring. We believe NFTs can be beautiful in addition to providing income through DeFi. The Polkacity PC game will be a fun app to use and help you gain passive income.

As we have previously mentioned, NFT owners will be able to hire real people to work in their NFTs, and this will help the Polkacity metaverse to get closer to the real-world economy without any of the hassles. As we combined NFTs with DeFi, we will bring real gaming to the blockchain and NFT space. In addition, game developers will be able to join with their own games to these games, and we expect this to create a compounding effect on the game complexity, bringing the game closer to the real-world mechanics.

Updates from the game design.

We have been designing pre-fabs for city block quadrants and each city block will be enclosed by roads and will consist of four quadrants. We’re designing pre-fabs for each quadrant that can be used in the programmatic placement system we’re developing. This is based on the assumption that we don’t need to allocate more than a quarter of a city block for a single NFT building.

Huge buildings like stadiums, airports, can either be placed on the outer edges of the city, or they would have to be placed manually. We will decide this when the placements are more clear. Programmatic placement of quadrants is a challenging task that we’ve been working on. We’ve developed a system to automatically place our pre-fabs to generate our city and you can see them in the video at the top of this article.

In addition to the NFTs, we will have lots of filler assets such as parks, buildings, park benches, street lights, lamps, grass, water, and many more. We are including 3 different levels of details for each NFT because they will be used to view the NFTs at different zoom levels such as sky view, 3rd person view, and 1st person view. We have also been working on the level of poly count for the visuals and GPU card optimization.
