The Polkacity New Market Place is Live

The new marketplace is live and now you can use POLC tokens to trade your NFTs. Simply go to https://platform.polkacity.io/marketplace and then click on any NFT you like, and click buy, just like buying from the Polkacity asset-buying page. The difference is now you can buy from the other users, p2p, fit for the decentralization principle of the crypto space. It is possible that the NFT prices will have some volatility, but we expect the marketplace to increase the liquidity of the NFT trade.

You can also sell your NFTs to other users and it is easy peasy. Simply go to the marketplace, go to my assets and view all the NFTs in your wallet, then click sell. Of course, your metamask should already be connected to the marketplace. Here is an article showing simpler things like metamask and the way it connects to the Polkacity website.

The major difference for the new marketplace compared to what we had before is that you will now be able to sell your NFT for any price you want, using POLC as the price point, and you won’t have to go to other sites such as opensea to trade your assets. You can purchase brand new assets from Polkacity by clicking on the new assets button, and then sell them in the marketplace if you find a price difference. It does seem unlikely but it happens.

To sell an asset you own, you will need to go to the My assets tab first, then click on Sell, and it will go to the marketplace. In other words, you sell your assets through the “my assets” tab instead of the marketplace. When you want to purchase second-hand NFTs from other users, you then go to the “Marketplace” tab.
